Hi,
Can you please let me know if it is possible to change the format of the calendar dates. At the moment it shows US date format whereas I'd like to have UK format of dd/mm/yy not really concerned if it shows yyyy as opposed to yy; so long as dd/mm is shown.

Thanks

Hello,

This is a bit more complex to do and would require a bit of custom coding changes. I found a document here on how to change this in Joomla that should be useful:

https://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/change-joomla-s-date-format/

Hi,
I looked at the article and then looked at the parameters that were setup already. The parameters are already set for the date format to be shown as:

dd/mmm/yyyy

so my guess is that the date format that is displayed when using the Appointment Inquiry module in your template has to be controlled by your template settings and not the global settings within Joomla, which is what was covered in the article on OS Training pages.

So any ideas how to tackle this issue?

Thanks

Hello,

I would check with Jonah in the S5 Reservations forum to see if he added any overrides to the latest version in the javascript files adjusting the format. Previous versions always echoed JDate.
