: Browser Tab Title : AAJS2014 January 03, 2015, 10:40:53 AM Hi,
When I look at the front end of my website, the tab title has the following text 'Welcome to the Frontpage!' Can you please let me know how I can get rid of this and make it more my website specific so that it says something like 'Welcome to my website name'? Also nowadays the norm is to display your logo or part of with the 'Welcome...' message on the web browser - is it possible to achieve the same effect here with this template? Thanks : Re: Browser Tab Title : jonahh January 06, 2015, 01:08:39 PM Hello,
You can change this in the home menu item under the menu manager area of your site. Just look under the parameters in there. : Re: Browser Tab Title : AAJS2014 January 07, 2015, 01:28:29 PM Great thanks, I've found the text that I can amend, but how do I get a logo to display when you type the URL in the browser?
: Re: Browser Tab Title : jonahh January 08, 2015, 02:04:00 PM Oh that icon is located in template folder, here is the path:
templates/salonspa/favicon.ico : Re: Browser Tab Title : AAJS2014 March 03, 2015, 06:20:09 AM Hi,
I've tried to update the original favicon.ico file with a new one by using a JPEG picture that I saved as .ico extension. I've then uploaded this in the template and renamed the original file as old favicon.ico but for some reason the change has not taken place and I still see the Joomla logo in the browser title bar when you navigate to the sychadelics.com website. Any ideas what is the issue here? : Re: Browser Tab Title : mikenicoll March 03, 2015, 10:31:00 PM Hello,
I am seeing your new favicon on my computer. You most likely have your browser cached :) : Re: Browser Tab Title : AAJS2014 March 04, 2015, 06:28:24 AM Excellent! Thanks for confirming.
