: Displaying Newsflashes : tngenewhiz January 13, 2015, 12:57:27 PM Once upon a time, in a far-off version of Joomla, there was an inherent module to display revolving intro text for content articles in the category "newsflash." That seems to have gone away in version 3.
I successfully published the "newsflash" module to an S5 Tab Show position in a J1.x implementation, and it worked great. I'd like to do something like that with J3 and this template that I'm testing, but I can't figure out how to accomplish this. The closest I've come is to copy the Latest News module and modify it to only show content from the Newsflashes category, but that just shows article titles...I like having the intro text scroll past as a "teaser."
