Hello,

Have you assigned an "intro image" to the article that is being pulled by the News Display module and do you have the intro image enabled in the admin of the module?

Got the intro image one, now what about the graphic styling?
The intro Image location is not working, also the sub images sizing does not respond to admin settings...
thank you

Similar issue here (Corporate Response template).  I cannot get images or formatting to work.

I see this message in the code viewer:

Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://seascout.org/".
(index):19 GET http://seascout.org/modules/mod_s5_news_display_2/css/style.css
jquery-migrate.js:21 JQMIGRATE: Logging is active
jquery.migrate.js?v=8f27c1273277fee5:21 JQMIGRATE: Logging is active

When I look at ../mod_s5_news_display_2 ... there is no css directory (and no style.css) - would this be the issue?

Thanks!

JM

So what you are trying to say is that the module doesnt have any style assiged to it right?
Does the module come with the styling?
Show I create my own style?

Thanks Leandro

Hey Guys,

The style.css file was missing from the install XML file.  Please redownload and try again, it should have the styling now.  Sorry about this.

Sincerely,

thank you, I re downloaded the module and re installed, now it seems to be better, but still is missing somethings;
1 - No brackground or color on module news
2 - No sub articles images resizing
3 - module Height not working, when setting up it resizes articles images but no the module itself.

I wonder? am I the only person trying to use this module? I can't belive no one had this problem or took the tiime to troybleshoot it.
PLease help
Thanks
Leandro

1. What do you mean by this, can you explain a bit more?
2. When you typed in the module height did you include the px, like "375px"?  Also this only works for the beneath article mode.
3. Same as #2

1st I want to thank you so much for  your continuous support to this matter. I am very happy customer. :)

Well, as per our conversation:

1 - I downloaded the module and re installed, using updated version as instructed.
2 - I published the module to show in welcome page
3 - I used 3 articles to show
4 - the articles are showing but the module has no dark background, and nothing looks like the demo. Am i missing something here?
5 - the admin section configurations are not exactly working as they should. wrong formatting when changing things around.

It appears you don't have "show intro image" enabled.  You need this enabled and intro image for each article that shows up or else it won't show any background.

i did enabled it and still same problem the background shows white as per website, not dark like in example...

Would you be able to PM me login details to your site so I can check this first hand?  Oh also FTP would be great too.   Also what style do you want it to look like from the demo?

Thanks,
