Social Icons are published to custom_6 which is locked to the left hand side of the screen.  How do I move custom_6 to the right hand side of the screen?

Hello,

The social icons are just published to a module position, so you can move them to any position on the template, such as the "right" position.

custom_6 positioned the icons tightly to the side of the screen and doesn't push anything else arround.  Using modules position "right" or "right_top" messeswith the rest of the layout.

See module positions in the link below:

My question should be: how do I move module position custom_6 to the right hand side?

many thanks

Hello,

Moving around module positions would require custom programming of the core layout. That would involve modifying code in the index.php, template.css and possible other files. We do not provide support for manually moving positions in the Template. Support is only for the core product and its features/layout.

Hello,

As stated customizations such as this are not something we provide support for via the forums. If you post in the Hire a Coder section you can find a 3rd party developer to make customizations such as this to your Template. We also have Tutorials for adding custom positions that you can reference in our documentation section that you can use to get an idea of the process.
