: Help! Full screen and upload box?
: mscott2 February 13, 2015, 01:27:18 PM
Hello.

Our website (avallone.net/home (http://avallone.net/home)) has been acting a little weird and I was curious to see if it might be a problem that could be fixed via theme support. Seemingly at random, the layout went full screen and got rid of the margins to the right and left of the center module. All of the proportions for widgets, images, info sliders, etc., are now off. A mystery upload box has also appeared at the top of the window. I've attached a screenshot to show this. I've gone through and checked our theme settings and nothing seems out of the ordinary, so this has me a little confused. It may not be a theme problem, but in case it is, can someone help me figure out what's going on/how to fix it?

Thank you,
Liz

The upload box is definitely not something theme related, but I have no way of even guessing which plugin you installed that might have caused it.

As for the site width, unless you set it to 100% fluid width in the theme options, something else is probably causing that too.

The first thing to do for troubleshooting would be to look at the most recently installed or updated plugins and try disabling them one at a time to see which one is causing the problem.

I've gone through and deactivated and reactivated all of the plugins both together and separately and the upload box is still showing up each time. We'll have to just try and find another way to diagnose it. Thank you for your help!

Just out of curiosity, what happens if you actually upload something?

Not much of anything. It uploads and says the upload is complete but there's no other result. I just uploaded a random image file to test it again.

That is extremely odd.  I'm out of ideas.  I know that nothing in the theme or framework would cause that, so unless someone made changes to the theme code, it would have to be a plugin, but you said you already tried deactivating all of them.
