I recently purchased Visual Composer. I have no problems editing and creating pages/posts, however when I save and preview, some of the functionality is effected (tabs, accordions, progress bars, galleries, etc) Looks like it affects everything that has some animation. I have disabled all plug-ins. No change I then Activated WordPress TwentyFifteen theme. No problem in displaying Visual Component content. I then activated all plugins while keeping the TwentyFifteen template. Still no problem in display. I switch back to Shape5 theme and have the same problem with display. It is obviously a theme issue. Can you please help. Developing locally, so I cannot send URL. : Re: Visual Composer : Tristan Rineer March 10, 2015, 07:09:11 AM It's very possible that the plugin you are having problems with has javascript that is incompatible with some of the code needed for the theme to function correctly. It is also possible that something's just being called in the wrong order. Without being able to actually look at the site, I have no way of knowing.
Unless you can provide a URL, all I can suggest is taking a look at the javascript console in Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) to see what kind of errors are reported. I should also mention that while I would be happy to help you if you could provide a URL, according to the Shape 5 Terms of Use (http://www.shape5.com/terms_of_use.html), third party extensions are not supported or guaranteed compatibility; especially paid ones, because they are not readily accessible for testing. |
