: Does not load until I resize browser window. : jtjohnson March 26, 2015, 10:59:13 AM This has been a problem that's been in the forums in the past and it appears that it has never been resolved. I've got the slideshow enabled on the home page of the Lime Light template as it comes by default. Responsive is enabled. I've tried running it in module mode and image mode, it doesn't change. When I browse to the page the module is "collapsed" and you can only see a small portion of the images. If I resize the browser window it springs open and appears as it should. Also, when I click on the logo link to the home page it'll appear normal. If I try to inspect the html with firebug it'll pop out and appear normal as well, so I can't even look under the hood to see what is happening. I don't see this behavior on your demo site, so I don't know what could be happening. As I mentioned, I've seen several forum posts with others having the same issues, but they just trail off with no real conclusion or solution.

I've tried several browsers. It doesn't appear to do it in all browsers, but Firefox, Safari, Chrome, they were all doing it. It appears to be something in the responsive code. The height starts out at 21px, but when you resize the window, it jumps to full size. Yes we are having a hard time loading your site. Something seems to be up with it, maybe firewall blocking us, etc. But basically after a few site loads it times out and won't let us load it anymore. If you can fix this we can take a look further or we also just recommend using the new Tab Show v3 as it can do the same thing and is also powered by CSS3 so it will save on site load time too. Regards, : Re: Does not load until I resize browser window. : jtjohnson March 31, 2015, 01:37:07 PM I'm not entirely sure what you might be experiencing with the site not loading, I'm not finding any trouble on the VPS and I can't reproduce a failure. I've taken your advice and substituted out the slideshow with the newest version of the tab show. It is working almost identically as the slideshow, with only a minor graphical difference, and it is working properly. This is what we'll run with, nobody's going to know the difference. I'd be curious to figure out what's wrong with the slideshow, but not curious enough to frustrate my customer. Thanks for your help!

The new tab show is a lot better too because it uses CSS3 to power the animations so this means less load time on the site too. We actually will be phasing out using the Image Slide on future template releases because of this. The tab show v3 can do what it could plus more.
