Hi,

After we have moved our site from one host to another, some module are not working properly anymore. There is startin gto be a lot of free space after the last tab pic. in S5 tab show http://puls3060.dk/ and the "mouse over" function don't work either. How to solve this and why have this started ? We also have space issue with a banner (Left) on front page.

The S5 Contact popup is given us a hard time as well, saying that users haven't typed the number in AntiSpam corrects, so we had to disable it.

Hope that someone would help us.

BR, Morten

Hello,

I am not sure what the original looked like to compare it to but the only thing I can suggest regarding the alignment would be to try enabling/disabling the Equalizer script in the Template Manager. That is the only thing that would affect the sizing of the modules by attempting to align them. Nothing during a server change would affect the layout of a page so perhaps they are loading some other scripts that are causing issues or have an old PHP version or something.

Hi, and thanks for your fast answer.

Where do I see this option for : enabling/disabling the Equalizer script ?

What about the "mouseover" in Tab1 and Tab2 "KOMMENDE AKTIVITETER" ? And the S5 Contact popup not working anymore ? I have down sized the PHP version, becouse we got problems when moving the site to another hoste, how do we get the new PHP version to work togheter whit this template ?

Hello,

1) Under the Javascripts Tab in the Template Manager

2) You have multiple 3rd party scripts that could be causing a conflict with other site scripts. It is possible that after migration the 3rd party scripts got updated or modified the calls in some way. I would have to see the site and our products without any 3rd party extensions active on the page to determine a cause.

3) In terms of the Contact Popup I do not see it active on the page. Check the menu assignment for the module or try reinstalling it.

4) PHP Version only relates to Joomla itself as the Template doesn't require  any specific PHP version just the CMS.

Did you just move servers or update Joomla as well? Moving servers shouldn't change anything at all as your just changing the location of files. I would assume something could have got corrupted if you are seeing many changes on the site during the transfer of files.

Hi again,

2) It seems like, this didn't help - can you have a look at our back-end ?

Hello,

Unfortunately we do not provide debugging or support for 3rd party scripts. I tested the Menu System on a fresh install and it was working properly and we don't have any reports from other users with menu issues. The problem is either caused by custom coding additions or a 3rd party jquery script that is conflicting with the menu scripts.

Hi Mike,

It's not the menu that is our problem, it's some S5 moduls that is not working after moving from one host to another. But okay, if S5 don't want to help (after sales support), it's your dissusion - then I just have to go back to www.garvick.com who always have had a very great support, also on there own moduls ect.

Hello,

There is nothing wrong with our menu system. You can test a fresh install to verify this and will see that it is working. We do not provide debugging support related to issues where you have added extensions/plugins that cause site wise conflicts. Gavick also doesn't provide debugging for 3rd party scripts via their forums.
