There is nothing in the template that would cause a site to load slow. You can see from our demos that it loads in a few seconds, with the same file set and no on else has reported any issues like this. All the css and js files in the template are relatively small but you can disable anything you aren't using in the Template Manager under Javascripts. The majority of the time when a site is loading slowly it is due to delays in server response. If you are using a shared server during peak times this can commonly occur. Another thing you can try is to use the built in compression under the Template Manager to see if this helps minimize the files a bit more and help with load times. Following that I would look at some htaccess edits to help improve your servers performance.
