: I have problems in controlling when swedish and english version of the site. : chriddo May 05, 2015, 10:03:17 AM When using different browsers from the same PC will result in different languages appearing. I have ...mysite.com/en/ ... and mysite.com/se/ .... but how will the system know which to choose from. Do I control it from somewhere? I have set the SE as default but EN keeps appearing.

For the Joomla Language Control there is a setting in Plugins > System (Language Filter) > Browser Settings You can change that to Site Language instead which will take priority versus the browsers settings. By default it should save a cookie for the users site language and always default to that language until the cookie is removed. Once the user logs in on the front end it will also default to that users chosen Front End Language in their profile. |
