: No Theme Options for the Construction Theme. : lkcombest May 21, 2015, 11:04:31 AM I installed a fresh copy of Wordpress 4.2.2 and then the Shape 5 Construction theme but there are no theme options when I go to the theme options page. There are just two rows of buttons, nothing else. I even tried to install an earler version of Wordpress 4.0 and still the same issue.
: Re: No Theme Options for the Construction Theme. : Tristan Rineer May 22, 2015, 06:38:15 AM The version of Vertex Admin that Construction was created with uses javascript that is no longer compatible with the latest versions of WP. Unfortunately, due to some custom overrides for Image and Content Fader, updating can't be done by just applying the Vertex Upgrade Patch (http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,96/task,cat_view/gid,308).
However, you can patch just the admin fairly easily. Simply delete the "admin" folder from inside the theme's "vertex" folder, and replace it with the admin folder from the Vertex Upgrade Patch (http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,96/task,cat_view/gid,308). You'll also need to replace the "vertex/parameters.php" file. Also be sure to not update the Image and Content Fader plugin ever. All the pre-responsive themes use the mootools javascript library, and the newer versions of ICF, as well as all other plugins, have been updated to use the jQuery javascript library, which all the responsive themes use, and is not compatible with the older themes. : Re: No Theme Options for the Construction Theme. : lkcombest May 22, 2015, 09:20:56 AM Thank you so much...that fixed it.
