Is it somehow easily possible to add some transparency parameter to the module styles-dark, -gray, -highlight1 and 2 as well as -lightcolor?
For my purposes it would be great if I could add something like "-gray transp50" to the module class suffix (here for a 50% transparent background) so that I can see the parallax background image which I defined for a specific area underneath the module.

Thank you very much! Yo

Hello,

Yes this is possible but to add a module style it would require custom coding to do so.  You can either copy one of the module styles included and rename as you suggest and add some CSS opacity to it (to point you in the right direction).  Or post in the hire a coder area here on the site to get a coder to help you with this.

Regards,

Thanks Mike for your follow-up.
I was successful in altering the module_round_box css directly by adding the "opacity" paramater.
Establishing a personal second module class suffix will be harder I think.
Since module class suffix highlight1 and highlight2 get their color codes from the vertex backend "theme specific" I can not just add opacity to the concerning template.css sections, right?
At the moment I am facing a bigger challenge regarding S5 tab show on a second homepage. I will open a new thread.

Yes correct you can just add the opacity to these existing module styles in the template.css file instead of creating a new one
