: transferring pics : 419neon June 16, 2015, 11:16:19 AM i'm building my new site (new.419neon.com) alongside my old site (419neon.com), and in the past have been able to copy pics from one site to the other (without re-uploading them all), since the sites shared the same file manager folder. i was able to do this when i switched from an old template to the original vertex template a couple of years ago.
i guess what i'm asking is if there is a way to do this again- to copy and paste the pics from the backend page of one site and drop into the backend of the other site. i have many many pics, and would dread having to upload and reinsert them all one by one. please advise. many thanks... -roger : Re: transferring pics : mikenicoll June 16, 2015, 11:12:47 PM Hello,
You should be able to copy the media folders from your old Joomla site to your new one. Once you copy the folders from the old site to the new one you should be able to see and use the pictures on the new website. Regards, |
