: Issues with Login/Register modules : BrysonL June 23, 2015, 10:57:52 AM Clicking either Login or Register at the top doesn't do anything. No error, no screens. I had it working at one point but now it seems to no longer function. I check the modules and template to make sure everything was seemingly enabled. Any ideas?
: Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : BrysonL June 23, 2015, 11:03:38 AM I had unplublished S5_box. Which fixed at least the issue of the boxes not appearing. However now when I try to register a test user, my sh404sef component is returning an Error 404.
When you click on the register button where does it go typically? back to home? : Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : mikenicoll June 24, 2015, 04:02:46 PM Hello,
Clicking on the register button should load the S5 Register popup within the S5 Box. The SEF errors with your extension you would need to contact the developer as I am not quite sure about the settings of that module and what would cause that. Just ensure S5 Box is published to the "debug" position on all pages for the popup to appear. Regards, : Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : osseo June 26, 2015, 09:01:42 AM Hi mikenicoll,
We are using ldap for our site login so how can I disable "create an account, forgot your username and forgot your password" links in the Login box/module in this template? Thank you! Emily : Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : mikenicoll June 26, 2015, 07:46:59 PM Hello,
Unfortunately this is a default Joomla module which doesn't have any built in features to disable these links. The only way would be to manually hack it out of the file sets in the login module on the server. Regards, : Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : osseo June 30, 2015, 01:20:16 PM Hi mikenicoll,
You mean there is no way to "remove/masks" the 2 links from the template module? If I can at least "hide" it, that will help a lot! I get many people try to change their password which mess up the ldap account. Can you please let me know if there is any work around for this? Thanks! Emily : Re: Issues with Login/Register modules : mikenicoll July 01, 2015, 06:31:28 PM Hello,
This is not a "Template" module but a module provided by Joomla. Since there are no settings within the module manager in the back end the only way to remove this links would be to manually remove the coding in the files on the server. This is not something we provide support for via the forums. Regards, |
