I love the flex menu, the only issue I find when watching clients navigate it is that they get frustrated that the whole drop down div for each menu item is not clickable - only the actual words. This is particularly evident when the div changes colour on hover - people often click the highlighted menu item but think it doesn't work because they're not clicking the actual text. I have read in another post about this being because of touch screen behaviour, but is there an override that can make the whole div clickable when there is no sub sub menu i.e. the only thing to open is the menu link? There aren't any available overrides to perform this change. The reason it is like this is on smaller devices the "text" portion becomes the redirect link and the surrounding space becomes the toggle able area to trigger a drop down action. This would allow someone on say an iPad to be able to navigate the menu drop downs as well as any direct links you have assigned to menu parents. |
