: custom_1 images not responsive
: OACOC August 13, 2015, 10:24:33 AM
Hi,
The images in custom_1 (image and content fader v3) are not acting responsively, any suggestions?  Enable responsive is set to on and fluid lay out is being used.

I have stretch to fit enabled and 0px to disable stretching

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hello,

The images are rescaling for me on my device. Note that since this position is a full screen height position there may be "zooming" that occurs to keep the images aspect ratio correct and prevent black bars whilst filling the screen height space.

Regards,

Mike,
Thanks for the response. In the Big Picture demo the custom_1 content does not zoom. How is that accomplished?

Hello,

Could you take a screenshot of your settings on the Image and Content Fader module and I will compare it to our demo to see if they are identical?

Mike,
Anything that is not included in the screenshot is blank.

Hello,

You want to use Mootools/Jquery. S5 Effects is for J1.5.

Also "auto" is not a valid height value. Leave that box empty with 100% width and stretch to fit and it will detect this automatically.

Unfortunately that did not alter the zooming effect. I have made the changes you recommended the default settings going forward so you know where I'm at settings wise.

One thing I have noticed is that if the module style is set to none in the advanced tab of the image and content fader module the image is responsive without the zoom but there is an unacceptable gap of whitespace between custom_1 and top_1.

If it can be done in the demo. I'm sure it can be done in the template...any other suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
