Hello,

I have problems to edit my template. The new version of joomla (3.4) has an editor, but it is very complicated for me.

I do not have knowledge to edit web.

I remembered that vertex template was very easy to edit on myself.

Can you help me? Is there any extension to edit the template content king for a beginner as me?

Hello,

I am not sure what you mean by "edit" the Template. You can use the Vertex Control panel in the back end to edit the layouts or functions of the Template. The content / modules can be adjusted via the Module / Article Manager's in the back end of Joomla. We do not provide editors, those are part of Joomla itself.

I tried to explain my problem.

I was user of joomla 2.5 and of vertex template (http://www.shape5.com/product_details/free_templates/vertex_-_free_joomla_template.html).

For me, it was very easy to change every part of the template that I wanted, because the template had bottoms to change modules and position in the template.

One week ago, I downloaded joomla 3.4 and I bought the Content King template.

My problem is that I can't change the parts of the template, the colours, the position, etc. Look my web: http://derechobancario.es

I don't have knowledge in web design, so I am looking for the same "back end" that I have with vertex template (I think that it is called "back end"). I mean, the screen that you see when you change the module. Now, I see a lot of words in informatics language.

Do you understand me what it is my problem?? Sorry but my english level is not good.

Maybe, I need an extension or something like that.

Hello,

Vertex is a super simple Template since it is Free and designed as such. More complex club Templates have many features built into the Framework but there are several areas where some CSS knowledge would be required to change a specific color or background. I would suggest looking at a few things:

And if none of that helps you with have S5 Custom Services so we can either do it for you or teach you via a Video Lesson how to make changes such as this outside of the Framework.
