Hello,

In "Extension", "Template Manager", you click on city-portal and you change Color Scheme to "default" and its ok!

Dont forget to put your /templates/city_portal/params.ini to 777 to be writable.

Hello,

If you are having problems changing permissions I would contact your host about this.  You may be changing the permissions but it might not be saving/taking because the user you logged in via FTP with doesn't have the permissions to make these kinds of changes.

Hello Mike,

I logged into your FTP with SmartFTP, right clicked on the params.ini file and change the CHMOD to 755.  The file is now writeable via your Joomla administration side.

Regards,

Hi Jonnah
Thanks

But i still see it red can you change mybackground  to ( default ) from your end to see if it's working? because on my back end once i click on apply or save the ( params.ini is unwritable!) is turning to red!

thanks
Mike

I can reproduce this issue.

After I chmod the .ini file it will appear as writable in the administrator panel.  If there are changes to the settings the file permissions will return to 555.

I have adjusted the file permissions with both WS_FTP as well as directly through the cpanel/file manager.

The result is the same.

Edits to add:

I can still modify the values in the page & it save with the permissions of 555/file flagged as nonwritable.

Odd.

I think even with the ( params.ini is unwritable!) it is still changing the background
i Consider this solved

thank you very much for all your help
