Updates to the framework are made frequently, and the patch is updated every time something is changed; it's very possible that the issue you are having has been solved in a recent change to the patch.
You may also be having issues because all the images and videos on your site seem to have a z-index that is making them stay in front of the menu, preventing the menu items from being clicked on. : Re: Subnavigation access in mobile : kkoryaka November 30, 2015, 06:17:00 PM The patch thing kind of helped.
