Kindly help. My site was hacked, so I restored the backup and now am getting this error: The template for this display is not available. Also in the template manager, I discovered that another template namely protostar has choosen itself as the default and I can't disable it hence I now have 2 default templates. What do I do please? I am not sure what would cause that other than a corrupted database. Have you tried reinstalling the template completely? Also, you can try having your host completely restore your entire account to a previous date, rather than just going through a backup. I will talk to my host. But actually the backup I mentioned was not the one I generated from the cpanel. Is from another directory which I created in the file manager. And it was not tampered with.
Meanwhile, it the one in the main folder of the site that was infiltrated with compromised files, I actually saw them. I will get back in case I need further help please. Thanks. |
