Shape 5

Hello,
It is the first time I'm trying to use wp and work with Shape5.
I followed the instructions of the video and the appearance of the site even without images is not the same as demo.

Always used joomla this is my first attempt to use wp but I find very difficult.

I just tested the shaper on one of my test servers, and everything installed as expected; after the install process, I did all the recommended updates, and the problem you are having appeared.  One of the recent updates to Image and Content Fader required changing some filenames for the plugin; this means that when WP updated the plugin, it couldn't find the old file, so it deactivated the plugin.  All you need to do is go to the "Appearance->Plugins" page in the admin and re-activate Image and Content Fader, and the layout will return to being correct.

Most of the images are contained in widget content (Appearance->Widgets), but there are also some background images that can be re-defined in the theme options (Shape 5 Theme).

Adding "?tp=3" to the end of any URL on your site will show you exactly which widget position each widget is located in (Example (http://saboresetarefas.pt/?tp=3)), which should hopefully speed up the process of customizing your site.

Also I tried to install Fresh Bistro SiteShaper. You can see the result at http://www.ristoranteatelierdelgusto.eu.
It isn't like http://saboresetarefas.pt/.
I tried to install siteShaper also in local with the same problem. During installation, the procedure did not ask me the use of sample data.
If necessary I can send you login e password.

During the installation, there is not visible the option "Install demo content from Shape5".
This happens on local and on web server. Also in local with another template (Campus life).

No problem with Joomla template.

It's urgent!!

The "Install Demo Content" option is no longer part of the install process, all newer releases just install the demo content automatically.

If content is missing, it's most likely that the file that installs the demo content got corrupted when you uploaded it.  The easiest way to fix it is to delete the "Sample Data Injector" plugin, then re-install it by extracting the "/wp-content/plugins/shaper_{theme_name}.php" file from the shaper, putting it into a .zip file, and using the WP plugin installer to re-install it from that new file.  Once the plugin is re-installed, activate it once to reset the site to a default shaper install; when you activate it, you'll need to make sure you wait for the page to completely finish loading before you navigate away, or you could interrupt the database dump, which would prevent the sample data from being added.

For future reference: When uploading the shaper for a new site, make sure you have your FTP client set to use "Binary Mode" for transfers; any other option can cause file corruption for PHP files, which is usually what prevents the sample data from being installed correctly.

You can see that S5 Image And Content Fader is not active. I tried to active also Shape5 Sample Data Injector - Fresh Bistro
After update wordpress to 4.5.2, the two plugins are deactived.

How can repair the problem and to have the siteshaper correctly installed?

In the file attached you can see the problem that [demourl] us not removed.
When I re-install Shape5 Sample Data Injector - Fresh Bistro the S5 Image And Content Fader is deactived.

I tried again to re-install siteshaper. I want to know what is your services "Site Shaper Install".
Is it an installation of siteshaper on your server from which I can after download a backup of the site that I can re.install on another webserver?

It's the first time that I use Wordpress. I have always used Joomla: first I create web site on local server, then - with Akeeba Backup - I transfer it on web server of the domain.
It's possible to do a similar procedure with Wordpress?

The reason the fader was deactivated after you installed the shaper is because you updated the plugin and there was a necessary file structure change in one of the plugin updates.  Just activate the plugin again, and it will work fine.  The "[demourl]" shortcode is programmed to use your actual site URL when not used on the actual demo, so it's not a problem for your site.
