: s5 Masonry Layout - Click to display full page article?
: bigmike May 22, 2016, 07:57:40 AM
www.saltmonkey.com

Why won't the the full article display when clicking on the title or read more?   I like the layout on front page but want the readers to be able to view the full article when clicking.

Thanks,
Mike

Hello,

You aren't use the S5 masonry on your link. Articles categories must be assigned to a menu item and on that menu item don't assign any modules. That's the default way of how Joomla handles articles and module assignments. By not doing this Joomla doesn't have a page or menu assignment for the read more link, so it inherits the parent page's layout. So just create a menu item, it can be on an unused menu, that points to that category and on that menu item don't publish any modules.

Thanks for the response.  I decided to go with EasyBlog as my blogging component.  Will the s5 masonry work with this as well?

Hello,

S5 Masonry only works with the default Joomla articles.
