: Article dates in URLs?? : bollinger June 01, 2016, 09:44:46 AM Hi,
We are working on a news site, but the 'date stamp' is always showing in the URL. I am confused because the menu aliases don't show this complicated alias. http://xenenmu2.srihosting.com/gg/2016-05-10-00-42-33/features Please help? I attached some screenshots that might assist. I also tried the method on the following page, but it didn't help. :( http://www.buildajoomlawebsite.com/forum/question/how-to-remove-article-dates-in-urls Matthew : Re: Article dates in URLs?? : mikek June 01, 2016, 11:38:41 AM Hello,
The template itself doesn't control any of this, the Joomla menu manage does. You will need to check your menu items' alias field, one of them is probably using a date as the alias. The alias field shows directly to the right of the menu title when editing a menu item. |
