: Suckerfish Menu : wmayer June 24, 2007, 07:08:50 AM On your site's menu you have 2 entries "Joomla Stuff" and "Tutorials" that are dummy entries for the sub-menu items. In other words, the 2 main level items aren't active. Can you tell me how that's done? I've been experimenting without much success. Thank you!
: Re: Suckerfish Menu : mikek June 24, 2007, 09:34:21 AM When creating the menu setup those buttons up as links and make the link url javascript:void() and give it whatever title you want. Javascript makes sure Joomla sees it as a link and the void just cancels it out.
I get in the habit of doing that because I do not think that every button on the menu needs to have a link. Sometimes they are just needed to categorize the menus better. But that is a personal design preference. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you again! |
