A button cannot be used in that area because of how the layout needs to work for the slide effect, so it's disabled. The slide effect works with an overflow and the inputbox actually extends much further than the open area shows, so even if it was displayed it would not show because it's off the screen. I'm sorry but there's not a way to add it in this design without a lot of custom programming, it was not intended to be used. |
