I duplicated the template since I needed a different layout for my home screen. However, the drop down does not show on the home page (the duplicated template) but it is shown on all the rest. What do you mean you duplicated it? You created a whole new template install or you created a new style? You shouldn't be duplicating the template, only creating multiple styles. If you just need a different layout for the homepage you would do that by assigning specific modules to specific pages, not a new template installation. You are right. I duplicated the style. I need different background colors for the rows hence I cannot do selective module assignment. But this duplication of style makes the drop down panel not show in the duplicated style. In the attachment, you will notice that i have not assigned any menus to the duplicated template since the drop down is not working.
