I have been unable to update to the newest version of Vertex on my two Sienna template sites: curranberger.com (THIS PAGE IS HAVING A MENU ISSUE AND I NEED TO UPDATE RIGHT AWAY) curranberger.com/entrepreneurs I followed the patch instructions at http://www.shape5.com/documentation/Vertex-Framework/Joomla-Specific/How-To-Patch-Vertex-In-Joomla-and-Changelog to no avail. I followed the instructions, but then when I log in and look at the About section of my template, I am still seeing the old version listed. Please help! If you are still seeing the old admin when you upgrade you either have cache enabled on the server, or you aren't over-writing the existing files with the patch due to maybe a permissions problem on the server. All that is needed to patch is to ftp all the contents of the patch zip file to the root of the template's folder. As long as your server permissions are correct it should allow you to over-write existing files and that is all that is needed. |
