: Mysql error at Database dump
: shiva March 02, 2009, 10:37:37 PM
Hi, getting a error when I try and dump the Game Vision template SQL in the database, using the latest version of Joomla 1.5.9

Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'NCREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `jos_contact_details` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL auto' at line 27

OS: Debian Linux
PHP Ver: 5.1.6
MySQL Ver: 5.0.27

EDIT: Fixed, I ended up just putting in the database by copy and paste directly in the mySQL, as opposed to doing a dump

Oh, and after downloading it twice just to make sure. You do know that the SQL dump that is in the gameVision dl section once you unzip it is listed as the file name for the commportal15 template? works though  :)

Oh, should mention that the registered user menu shows on the side with any article listing. It didn't show at the demo, because it's only for registered, but it does cut off the max width for the articles, All the other menus are gone, so what setting do I need to turn it off, and have it display only for the front page?

Hi, well I'm not sure how the database got named that way but you're right all the data was correct, must have been a long night that night :)

I'm not sure what you are referring to by the registered menu, can you please post a url to where this is happening?

It happens with all the features articles, the wrapper, lytebox etc  and it shows only if you are a registered member to the site.

It's the User Menu box (mod_mainmenu is the module)

It should only show if the Main Menu is also on that page, but it seems to be on every page. This was a fresh install, with nothing else added.

Name: test
Pass: test

At the front, the s5 box has the login box at the top left of the page
Also, there's a admin link at the top directly to the CPanel, and it's viewable by everyone, member or not. I changed it to registered, but there isn't a setting for admins so only they can view it, just a "special" setting which doesn't seem to do anything.

Oh, another minor thing, there's a small line display problem at the very bottom of the page where the 8 boxes are, the corners for the border line are 2 pixels, while the line between them are 1 pixel. Using the latest Firefox, but just a CSS thing that is easy to fix myself.

Pretty stable template, and really like it as a design.

Hi, you have the user menu set to all pages. But you have no links on the user menu so it shows blank. If you want it to show only on certain pages you have to select the pages you want it on under menu assignment, but you must first add links to the menu. If you don't want it there you have to unpublish the module.

Thanks
Will get it sorted. The user menu was already set for all the pages with the install, there are links in the menu, they are so light they blend into the grey transparent BG and the top of the image, but I also noticed that the style set was different from the others.
