Sorry for this really basic question  :-[. I try to find where/how I can insert font awesome icons, how to make columns, etc.... Can you please tell me where to find it?
Thanks.

Hello,

You are asking two different questions:

1. Font awesome icons are not recommended, although the library is in the template. We recommend Ion Icons instead because they have better backwards compatibility. You can add an Ion Icon into any article or html module, just have to use Ion Icon classes and make sure Ion Icon is enabled under the General tab in the template configuration. http://ionicons.com/

2. I don't know what you mean about adding columns? Are you adding content columns, or modules? Content columns are controlled in the Joomla menu manager. You can't add columns to the module layout, there are already five to pick from. Columns show based on what modules you have assigned to each page:

Hello Mike,

thanks for your answer... I found the ion-icons and then also that I will have to write some css if you wish a different layout in the Oasis template... that might be to complicated for me though.

Then indeed the second question, what I meant is that I would like to divide the text in an article into 2 different columns without making a table. Is that possible?

Thank you. Martine

Hello,

Dividing a single article's text into two columns would require your own custom html and css layout in the article itself to do so. If you want two articles side by side that's controlled under that page's menu item, that's controlled under the Layout tab when editing a menu item.
