Hello,

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean, the module already do this.

OK. I'm using health_guide kickstart and there is no functionality like opening/closing tabs. You can only open tab, but can't close it by clicking "-" sign. I know that in demo version of VA module it works but in the version provided in kickstart it doesn't. Try this in the demo of health_guide template - it doesn't work (even if I disable automatic switching tabs in backend).
Any solution?

Hello,

You can't close the accordion by clicking an the minus sign, you can only close the current one by clicking on another's plus sign. One accordion has to remain open at all times, that is the script is designed. So if you only clicked the minus sign it wouldn't have one to remain open. That is how the module is intended to work and there's no way around that.

OK, how about separate module (VA club extension)? Does it work like I need (+ and - opening and closing tabs) like in its demo? Module from kickstart is different one? Its a little bit confusing...

Hello,

I'm sorry I don't understand your question, the one from the quick start is the exact same module that you can download individually in the club extensions.

Compare:

demo from one template (you can open and close tabs manually):
http://www.shape5.com/demo/shenandoah/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=223&Itemid=306

demo from another template (you can only open tabs manually but not to close them):
http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?health_guide

Hello,

The first link is an older version of the module, but still the same module and stylized differently. The first one operates different because it runs off of mootools which does not require one to be open. Joomla no longer uses mootools and relies on jquery, and that version requires one to be open, again there is not a way around that.
