: All paragraph codes are ignored unless placed within Visual Composer text box : Darwin01 December 30, 2016, 08:44:06 AM I am having a problem with this theme regarding when you place text in a standard post. It comes out as one long paragraph. The only way to fix it is to place it in a text box within Visual Composer. This would be fine except we need to show excerpts of news articles on a news page and the VC shortcodes stops that from happening.
I've disabled the theme and selected a generic theme and the problem goes away so it's definitely a theme issue. I've also disabled all the plugins and kept the Design Control theme enabled and the problem was still there, so it's not a plugin issue. Any idea on how to fix this? : Re: All paragraph codes are ignored unless placed within Visual Composer text box : Tristan Rineer December 30, 2016, 09:42:22 AM On the "General" tab of the theme options ("Shape 5 Theme" on the admin menu), disable the "RAW HTML" option.
That option disables the WP auto-formatting and was added due to some issues that the auto-formatting was causing with the custom HTML in some demo content. : Re: All paragraph codes are ignored unless placed within Visual Composer text box : Darwin01 December 30, 2016, 11:43:08 AM On the "General" tab of the theme options ("Shape 5 Theme" on the admin menu), disable the "RAW HTML" option.
