: How best to display simple contact list : rogerard March 14, 2017, 06:47:57 AM I'm trying to create a website for my son's cub scout pack (a non-profit) using this Incline template and I'd like to create a simple contact list, which uses joomla's built-in contact list management, to display a list of the leaders in a layout similar to this pack's site: http://www.pack29auburn.com/leadership. I've looked for addon components and modules and everything I find is far more complicated than I need. I'm not sure if I should try to create a custom module of some sort or create an override of this template's com_contact code (which I've no idea how to begin except to click the create override under the template's administration). Could you please advise?

The template itself won't control this, the layout options given in com_contact are the only options given from Joomla. If you need something like what it's on the url you provided you could create a table with the content inside. |
