: Search articles issues on all searches : pbdesign April 09, 2017, 09:57:33 PM I enabled smart search, indexed it and all the information shows. I have created a list of articles and when I do a search it shows the articles in the results. When I go to click on a result, article link, it takes me back to the homepage and NOT the article itself? Any ideas on why this is happening?
I tried other search modules including the S5 live search and it still shows results but takes me to home page. At the top of my browser it shows the article ID along with the entire string but the page will not show. Is this a Menu setting, or issue? "How do I get my articles to show after clicking the results in the searches so viewers can read them"? Thanks a bunch! Ps. We will renew our membership!!! Awesome, thanks for renewing! This is actually how Joomla works. Any article that isn't assigned to a category or menu item will show on the homepage when a "read more" is clicked. We have the same issue for the Masonry module too. What we do is publish all articles to a category then this category is assigned to a menu item. Also you only have to publish 1 category, the parent, to a menu item. All the sub categories to this main one don't need menu item assignments. Also we either publish to a menu that isn't on the page or to the bottom menu or something. |
