You will need to either install a plugin that does it for you, or you'll need to manually add an excerpt to each post.

There was a time last year when I needed such assistance and you gave a code to put in the content.php file and it worked. But I tried it now and it didn't work. Your site is currently using Masonry for the content on the home page, and Masonry needs to have post excerpts set manually, or it will use the full post content. The demo content uses manually created excerpts.
