: How to vary highlight colors by page? : flaxton May 22, 2017, 07:32:23 AM Is there a way to do this?
What I mean is for example to have one set of the web pages use a Blue as the highlight 1, but others use Green as the highlight 1, all in a single website. My alternative would be to install the template into two subdomains, and change the highlight 1 color in each subdomain installation. But I'd rather do it in a single website. Maybe there is a URL parameter I could include to do this perhaps? The reason for this is my client has two major areas of business - and they want a different color scheme (blue or green) on each section. So I'm looking into ways to do this, using the Regan Tech template, which is the one I want to use. Thanks for your help! You would have to create multiple template styles using the Joomla Template Manager. Each style can then be applied to individual menu items with its own unique settings. I would not recommend having a lot of these those; when you create styles the settings become completely unique. So when you have to make one setting update to the site, you have to do it to all styles. : Re: How to vary highlight colors by page? : flaxton May 24, 2017, 07:26:26 AM That is brilliant! I should have thought of that. ;D
