: Menus Automatically Trashed when Created or Updated : ibctcom June 15, 2017, 01:29:26 PM I have just updated my Newsplace quickstart site to Joomla 3.7.2. The updated proceeded without any problem.
However, when I try to modify or add any menu item, the menu item is automatically 'trashed'. When I try to 'untrash' it, and save it as 'published', it is again automatically 'trashed'. I have tested this with several different menus and the result is always the same. I have 4 menus on the website, with no problems before upgrading to 3.7.2, and now any Menu item I touch becomes instantly 'trashed'. Even when I recreate the menu item, it instantly becomes trashed. I have checked the database and it is fine. I have edited the database to 'untrash' the items but they do not appear on the website. The 'trash' icon reads 'component disabled' yet the component is actually 'enabled'. I am afraid to continue testing in case all of my menu items simply disappear. I have discussed this on the Joomla site, and they point to the quickstart package as the source of the problem. I have updated other quickstart packages to 3.7.2 without this problem.
