: Javascript help : ccvid June 20, 2017, 04:00:12 PM I have a javascript that I'm trying to add to my website and am unsuccessful. You can get a copy of the script at https://www.webervations.com/javascript_for_calendar.html
Just view page source and save the entire script. Here's the deal, I tried putting the <HEAD> portion of the script in the template at /templates/oasis/index.php Then I added the rest of the script including the form in a custom HTML module (allowing scripts, applets, and javascripts in the WYSIWYG editor) During testing, the javascript buttons appear and the module looks like it will work, but when you click the submit button nothing happens... well, the page seems to reload. What am I doing wrong and how do I install this script? Thanks! : Re: Javascript help : mikek June 21, 2017, 07:16:56 AM Hello,
I am sorry we don't provide support on custom scripts. You would need to contact the script developer with any issues related to their script. Our support is just for our core products. : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 21, 2017, 10:08:48 AM Can you tell me how to put something in the <HEAD> on your template?
: Re: Javascript help : mikek June 22, 2017, 07:23:19 AM Hello,
You would have to modify the index.php file. There is a head call usually around line 18. : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 22, 2017, 10:09:16 AM Awesome, thanks for helping there. 1 more quick question.
The form is placed in the top_row1_1 position. The form boxes are cutting off the words so I can't read them. (See the attachment.) I think I can fix this by deleting "overflow:hidden; " somewhere in the CSS. Do you know where I'd change this? Thanks : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 22, 2017, 10:37:35 AM I think I have it, but for some reason Google Chrome keeps overriding the change. It seems to work on firefox and IE. ugh
I changed the padding to 0 at template.css:237 select, textarea, input[type="text"], input[type="password"], input[type="datetime"], input[type="datetime-local"], input[type="date"], input[type="month"], input[type="time"], input[type="week"], input[type="number"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="search"], input[type="tel"], input[type="color"], .uneditable-input { padding: 10px; : Re: Javascript help : mikek June 23, 2017, 06:18:38 AM Hello,
That's most likely a font size or height issue with the form, please post a url to where this occurs. : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 26, 2017, 09:32:48 AM Sorry, I had the module turned off over the weekend. The form is located at http://rentbransonlogcabin.com/
: Re: Javascript help : mikek June 27, 2017, 07:17:09 AM Hello,
Try putting the following into custom.css: select, input[type="file"] { height:38px !important; } : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 27, 2017, 09:26:53 AM Sorry, that doesn't fix it in Google Chrome. It doesn't seem to make a difference. I even pasted the code in different parts of the template.css including body elements, module style, and form.
: Re: Javascript help : mikek June 28, 2017, 07:21:27 AM Hello,
I tested that in Firebug and the css does work. Please be sure you have completely cleared your cache. : Re: Javascript help : ccvid June 28, 2017, 08:55:58 AM Mike, I should have known. That did it! Thanks so much for the help!!!
