Hi,

I realized in early 2014 a site joomla 2.5 with the template CleanOut.
Today I would like to pass it in joomla 3.7.

My question : I don't want to change the template for the moment but simply update the joomla. What do you advise me then?
1) reinstall the siteshaper cleanout with the current version then integrate my data backup inside?
2) or simply update the template by downloading only the current version template?

This is important because I have to do the php update on my server and I'm afraid that my joomla 2.5 does not like much :)

Hello Laure,

Your #1 sounds more time consuming, so I would try to avoid this one. First I would make a backup of your current site. Then apply the Joomla 3.x update and as you said in #2 install the current version of the Cleanout template. You also will have to reinstall any Shape5 modules you have running on the site too. If you want to not lose your settings in the modules just overwrite them via FTP and they can be updated that way too.

I trie to find something in foruma bout this template tath i boutg during my subscription.
Actualy the template don't work anymore and i don't know how to fix it.
If u go insede a settings u will c the window with all errors and template isn't usable...

Yes you will need to patch to the latest version of Vertex to fix this. You can read on how to do this here:
