Hi,

Using Joomla 3.7.2  - PHP 5.5.9 - Oasis template

Facing a problem with the back end control of the template.  Can't fint the Vertex control panel...

Can you help me ?

Please be sure you are patched with the latest version of Vertex:

As I understand below, I need to update to patch 2.3 before update to Vertex 4.1. Is this correct ? I'm not able to see any tab with the version no. but I think my Vertex version is very old - before 2014..

"2. Ensure that your site is currently running Vertex 2 or higher. In the template configuration proceed to the About tab. If your current version is not listed then you are running a version less than 2.3 and you will need to upgrade with that patch bef ore you proceed. This patch can be found in the Free template download section, in the same location as the Vertex 4 patch."

I have found the Vertex 4.1 update, but I don't think any patch 2.3 is available ? Can't find it. Pls. post a link for download, if patch 2.3 is nessesary.

If your site is running Joomla 3, you will be able to upgrade directly to 4.1. Please be sure to make a backup of the template folder before proceeding.

Thanks - something vent wrong. I have installet vertex 4.1 according to the instructions. (also have a back up of the template folder). I do have access to the Vertex menu now - also confirming version 4.1 and working.

However. the templade does not look correct !!

What went wrong - any solutions ?

Hello,

An update of Vertex would not cause your menu to do this. There is a styling issue on your site that is prevent the html portion of the menu to actually load. Please revert your site back to its state before the upgrade and private message me super admin access and ftp access after that so that I can perform the upgrade for you.

Thanks for your efforts - I appreciate this.

Don't sspend more time on this issue. I have decidet to build a compelte new web page on another. Once this is done it is going to replace th old one.

I have downloaded a new Oasis template including Vertex 4.1. After this I upgaded Joomla to 3.7.2. It vent well.
