Hello,

You can upgrade Joomla itself from the backend of Joomla to 3.X. However, no 2.5 products will work in Joomla 3.X, you must completely reinstall the template and extensions with the latest versions after you upgrade Joomla.

Hello,

As I stated above, you cannot use a 2.5 product in 3.X, they are incompatible. That means after you upgrade Joomla itself you must completely remove the template and extensions and then reinstall them with the latest version. I am sorry there is not a way to save those settings, because everything must be uninstalled and new versions put in their place. Within Joomla 3.X you can upgrade to the latest versions with new issues, but going from 2.5 to 3.X is a different Joomla platform.

Hello,

Did you completely uninstall the old template and install the new ones? The layout issues you are seeing would indicate you are on old css.

In regards to your error message here is nothing in a template that controls the databases of a Joomla install. It sounds like you have something corrupt within your Joomla database, I would suggest posting on the forum boards of joomla.org as this pertains directly to the CMS. You can also go to Extensions/Manage/Database and see if there are any errors to fix under that tool.

Hello,

You did not answer my questions above, did you completely uninstall the template and reinstall with the latest version? You must do this. You cannot run the old 2.5 files on your site. Your problems are indicating that you are still running older files. Again, all the extensions and template must be completely uninstall and reinstalled with the latest versions.

I cannot debug a data problem for you, our support is for our products only. You have a corruption in your Joomla database, please go to the admin tool that I mentioned above to see if it can be fixed from there.
