Ok I do see that it just goes blank and nothing happens. Usually this is caused by a permissions issue on the tell a friend files. Try setting the files to CHMOD 775 and see if the problem persists.

Yes it will work in Joomla 3.x and actually might be the reason its not working in 2.5. I didn't realize you were running 2.5

Hi Jonahh, I am back, I have loaded the site on its proper domain and it is the latest Joomla 3, The plugin seem to work, the error message is now gone, it sends and says confirmed - send more or close, however no emails come through. The new link is online-trader.co.za (top right hand column)

Let me know if there are any settings I should look at.

Ok thanks I do see the issue. In your global configuration area can you send a test mail for the methods "php mail" and "sendmail? Go to: "global configuration > server > mail settings". Do these 2 methods give you an email?

Hi Jonahh, I checked both and yes they do send a test mail, i received both. By the way which one should I use?

I believe sendmail should be the correct one. This is what the tell a friend module uses. Try enabled with sendmail, send a test email and if that works try tell a friend again.
