I did the last update of Joomla today. My top menu does'nt display now. I've tried to remove the slideshow, but it's not working. I cant' find the vertex interface... Could you help please.

My Joomla version is 3.8. My Vertex version, I dont' know. I can't see the usual interface with tabs, there is no tabs at all, see the attachments.
I did the upgrade to vertex 4 but I have this error : Template XML file not found
So, I thought, I have perhaps a vertex version less than 2.3. I used my backup, my website ran again, but without menu. Then I upgraded with vertex for joomla 2.5, I had php errors?
I've uploaded my backup, and I don't know what I have to do now.
Could you help me please. It's very very URGENT

Your screenshot is the template file manager, not the template styles manager. The Vertex version is shown in the styles manager when you open the configuration. An xml error would indicate that you have xml files missing on your server. Open the template's xml folder and inside of there you should have a specific.xml file; if it's not there please grab a fresh copy from the template's zip file.

You should not be patching with 2.5 files. Please patch only with the 4.2 patch from the downloads.

Thanks for your reply, but I did what you said and it doesn't work.
I saw in the patch that the Specific.xml file were not in the xml folder. So I've downloaded the template current version, which is containing vertex. But I can't install it because I have an error : I've yet a sport-nation template in my server, so Joomla refuses to install the new one. My problem is to install the version of Sport Nation without remove my work : I have several copy of the template, witches are assigned to different menus. I have some Css too.
Could you tell me how to do this please ?

Hello,

You should not be reinstalling the template, you only need to grab the xml file from the zip file. Specific.xml is not in the patch file, it is in the template's zip file, you just need to grab it from that file.

I did what you said : install the patch, and grad the Specific.xml file in, from the current template. It's not working ! The menu is displaying, but it does'nt work (no submenu, no rollover). And, the website has disappeared : I just see the menu now, and a little little little white window in witch I guess the website is? in Chrome. In Safari there another display (same problem in Firefox).  See the attachments
I've verified, I have no updating to do, everything is on current versions.

Please contact your hosting provider and have them do a restore of your template's folder, it seems multiple files on your site have been changed. After that please private message me ftp access and I will perform the Vertex 4.2 patch for you.
