: Component in Outdoor Life Template not working : schnellman November 13, 2017, 08:16:48 AM I am just starting a build for a website and am using the template Outdoor Life. I have installed a 3rd party component called Hotspots. It works on all the stock templates that come with Joomla, but not outdoor life. Is there a setting in this template that may affect how other componants behave? It is not showing up - just a white box.

This a layout and styling issue of the component itself. The developer of the extension will need to correct this. I am looking at their layout and the css used and it has a lot of position absolute calls; which are unnecessary and causing problems. Their layout looks pretty basic and should be done with floats, not absolute calls. Please see the attached, I was able to get just this text to show by actually turning off their absolute calls in dev tools. So the component is outputting, but they are not providing proper css to stylizing the component. That is something they need to correct. |
