: Using of S5 Photo Showcase in custom_1
: enRigo January 03, 2018, 03:34:34 PM
Hello,

I would like use this template with the S5 Photo Showcase module in the custom_1 positition.
My problem is, that the S5 Photo Showcase-module is only visible at the page if I activate this together with the S5 Tab Show Module.
Is only the Showcase module active, then the module is not visible on the page.
Are both modules enabled, than I have both modules one below the other in custom_1.

Another question: Can I change or hide the arrow-text (next/prev) of this module?

Thanks

Hello,

Please see my response to this issue here:

Yes you can disable the arrows. Actually you can for both the tab show and showcase module in their admin areas.

First problem now is solved. Thanks!

In the Tab Show Module I find the configs for the arrows in the first module tab.
But in the Photo Showcase Module there I can't find any configs for the arrows. Not in the first main tab and not in the "Styling" tab. Did I miss something? :-[

Hmm that is strange. I thought we had an option for the arrows but they seem to be automatic. Can you please post a URL of your website where you have the photo showcase module enabled?

Of course.

If you want to hide them just add the following to your custom.css file and this should do it:

:
body #s5_photo_showcase_prev, body #s5_photo_showcase_next {display:none !important;}

Thank you Jonah, I guess there is no planned updated to implement the same styling features of the tab show module in the photo showcase module?

Another problem  :( The portfolio page worked only in the manu item "Pages" of the site shaper. A copy of this in a new menu item called "Produkte" there are the page is not working.

Is this normally?

bye and thanks

No plans right now to do this.

You just need to enable the info slide script under "JavaScripts" in your Vertex admin area.

If you want to hide them just add the following to your custom.css file and this should do it:

:
body #s5_photo_showcase_prev, body #s5_photo_showcase_next {display:none !important;}

Hello Jonah,

"hide" the navigation arrows are not the right thing.
Is it possible to rename the text of the arrows "Prev" and "Next". I dont find the right places of this words with my development tools in the browser.  :'(

Thank you and best regards!

Did you add the above code I pasted to your site and it didn't work?  If so please post a URL of your site so I can take a look.

Thanks!

Sorry Jonah, language barrier!

Your code above work perfectly to hide the navigation arrows. Another idea was not hide complete but rename the words "Prev" and "Next".
Or is there an easy way to use the arrow-png-files (f.e.: s5_ps_next.png / s5_ps_prev.png) from the module folder on the agency template?

Many thanks, and sorry again for my bad english! :-[

Oh ok no worries :)

If you want to change the prev and next text this can be done. Its located in the following file:

modules\mod_s5_photo_showcase\tmpl\default.php
