: Problem with updating Vertex : hptschupp January 15, 2018, 08:46:14 PM I use on the website moergeli.com the shape5 template Corpoarte-Response. This template was used now for 5 years and all Joomla upgrades were no problem up to 3.8 where the menu is missing. I read the article and installed the vertex updater but the template does not show up in the updater, just an empty field. (see attachment). The current Joomla version is 3.7.3 (I restored website to 3.7.3 after 3.8.3 failed).
There is also another problem. The tabs for the vertex customization panel are missing in the Extensions -> Templates -> corporate_response - Default (see attachment). I assume that something is wrong or corrupt with vertex and I need some hints on what to do. If you need admin login let me know. I just renewed membership and hope we can come up with a solution. I would suggest trying the manual upgrade of Vertex 4.2: https://www.shape5.com/documentation/Vertex-Framework/Joomla-Specific/How-To-Patch-Vertex-In-Joomla-and-Changelog Also, you mentioned that the site is 5 years old. Make sure you have completely reinstall the template and all modules for Joomla 3. No 2.5 products work in Joomla 3, simply patching Vertex is not enough to perform the upgrade. |
