: 400 and 403 errors for google fonts : jborgman March 22, 2018, 01:56:27 PM When I check the Chrome developers console, I see some 400 and 403 errors about css and google fonts.
First I thought it had something to do with Akeeba's AdminTools, but when I disable that plugin, the errors still occur. It doesn't bother me that much, but Google Adwords is disapproving my ads because they notice a 400/403 error on my page. They advised me to ask my template provider for advice. Is this something you can help me with? : Re: 400 and 403 errors for google fonts : mikek March 23, 2018, 07:42:38 AM Hello,
400 and 403 errors are forbidden errors, which means that something on your server is preventing those files from loading. Unfortunately, your console isn't given any details as to what files are being forbidden. I would first start with your hosting provider to see if there are any permissions problems on the server. Since the error doesn't given any specific file names, another thing you can do is open the source of your site and try opening each .css file call in a separate tab to see if it allows the file to load. If it's forbidden the browser will show you that error for that file. It's a pain, but since it's not giving you the file name I can't think of any other way to identify the file(s) that has the error. |
