Can we expect any plug-ins that can help with the new law that takes effect on may 25th.

This is going to be an essential part of websites. Dunno in the States but in the EU it is a big deal. First maybe a warning but after that fines will follow.

Maybe it is an idea to make people aware here and how to make their Joomla & Wordpress according the new regulations.

I've just put a new version in the downloads. Install that version and at the bottom of the first tab you'll see two textarea fields. If you enter anything in those textareas the text you entered and a checkbox will show on the module. The user is required to check off that box before submitting the form; ie: they may not leave it unchecked. In the textarea you can enter any custom html, like a hyperlink to a user agreement page or a document. There are two of these checkboxes built in.

Keep in mind that our templates are not designed aesthetically for the layout of this addition, so they may not appear correctly.

The Quick Contact works for me. I suggest all EU members look at the GDPR extension in Joomla Extensions on Joomla.org. Works like a charme and fully customizable. Also integration in the standard Joomla contact form.
