I've had a Business Pro website running for a couple of years and, admittedly, haven't been upgrading or backing it up it as regularly as I should. I recently went to upgrade the Joomla Core from 3.5.6 to the current 3.8, using the built-in Joomla Upgrade Component. The site first, upgraded to 3.6x successfully and I went through the process again to upgrade to 3.8.  The result was a completely white screen on both sides of the site.  I tried many possible solutions outlined on Joomla forums to no avail and I did not have a working back-up.  Ya, I know....but that's what happened.   My host company did not have a workable back-up for me. So my only solution was to save the media/image files and completely rebuild the site.
So yesterday, I downloaded a fresh Site Shaper version of Business Pro and was surprised to see it was only a Joomla 3.5 version.  So I used the Joomla upgrade Component to bring it up to Joomla 3.8...   The result...a completely white screen on both sides of the site.  So, back to the Joomla Forum and I've been told by many that the problem is with the Template. People are saying it should be current and I shouldn't have to update it once it's been installed. 
Which brings me to this;  Do you have Business Pro SiteShaper Template which is compatible with Joomla 3.8?

Hello,

I was able to upgrade with no issue using the latest site shaper. That would indicate that you have a problem in your hosting environment, especially if you are saying the screen is white. I have gone ahead and updated the site shaper to 3.8.7 as well, and that's live in the downloads.

Thanks Mike. It might have been the PHP version. I noticed it was running 5.4 so I've updated to the latest version and will reload the fresh Siteshaper.  Will let you know if there are any issues.
