Hi Mike,

I'm trying to understand why the loading and switch between the pages of the Charity template is so slow.

May I ask you to access it and see if you notice anything obvious ?

If you try to access pages for example under the "Collaborators" or "Events" you will probably experience the same slowness as I am finding.

One may be brought to say that it's the host. BUT if you try accessing the main website at https://www.elementotango.it yoi will notice it's very fast. Both reside on the same hosted machine, so I can't figure out why charity is so much slower.

I checked those pages but they didn't seem all that slow. Here's a metrix result showing 5.3s, which is a tad slow but not that bad:

A template really has very little to do with site speed. Most performance issues are related to the amount of content on the page (ie: really large pictures or calling from external sources), or server performance. Are you on a shared server or dedicated? If shared, the resources can spike at pretty much any time.

Hi Mike, thank-you for paying a look at it. The web site is on a shared server, where I have also other 2 web sites. What I can't explain is why the other 2 sites seem not impacted by speed fluctuations.

My last question for today: do you know of any free tool (online or offline) that can show me all of the scripts loaded, external calls, etc etc when I load a page ? This way I can understand how many calls I execute, how many scripts are loaded and when, etc.
